I took part in the 8th World Conference of Science Journalists held in Helsinki (Finland) in June 2013, <a href="http://wcsj2013 like this.org/making-sense-uncertainty/” onclick=”_gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘outbound-article’, ‘http://wcsj2013.org/making-sense-uncertainty/’, ‘discussing about uncertainty in a panel organised by Sense about Science’]);” target=”_blank”>discussing about uncertainty in a panel organised by Sense about Science, and contributing to the workshop organised by the European Union of Science Journalists’ Associations (EUSJA), on investigative science journalism. At the time I was sitting in the board of EUSJA, still trying to change it.

After that very frustrating experience with EUSJA, both on the human and the professional side, in early 2014 I started investing all my energies – along with a group of excellent colleagues from the most relevant and active associations of science journalists in Europe – in the launch of the European Federation for Science Journalism.
