Fabio Turone and Daniela Ovadia both contributed to the “tremendous success” of the 2019 World Conference of Science Journalists that was jointly organised in Lausanne, Switzerland, by the professional science journalists associations of Switzerland, France and Italy.

Fabio Turone was involved in the organisation since the preparation of the bid by the “Alpine Consortium” created by the three associations, and was then member of the board of the organising committee and co-head of Communication.

Daniela Ovadia was member of the programme committee, that screened 465 proposals submitted from all over the world and crafted a very rich scientific programme.
